Guidance for the fire brigade
Do you know your building like the back of your hand? The fire department usually doesn't! In the event of a fire, firefighters need a quick overview of the building and its use. Fire department plans are an important and helpful support for the fire department when it comes to saving people and preventing damage to buildings and the environment. They are used for operational preparation, quick orientation and on-site assessment. The fire department plans are prepared in accordance with DIN 14095.
Fire department plan - not just a plan
Fire brigade plans consist of drawings and textual explanations. The finished document is created from a description of the general building data/object information, an overview plan, floor plans and additional textual explanations. In some cases, special plans are also required. Fire department plans must always be up to date and must be checked by a qualified person at least every 2 years.
