As part of the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2020, Airbus, Hamburg Aviation and ADS UK organized a joint pitch event.
Due to the pandemic, it had to be postponed and was now virtually made up for on May 12.
15 selected companies from the networks of Hamburg Aviation, ADS and Aerospace Valley were admitted to the pitch session to present their innovation to Airbus and ATR.The companies' presentations ranged from ideas in sustainability or energy efficiency to ideas for fire protection, new materials, catering and cabin waste.
At this, PERMALUX presented the product families "AMFE" and "eBulb", the " world' s smallest fire extinguishers". Both product series work without auxiliary energy and safely and autonomously extinguish possible fires directly at their origin.
Overall, the pitch had a very positive response. It offered all participants a good platform to present or get to know innovative products.

Da Ronch is very satisfied with the output of the event: "Our expectations were met, among other things, in that the pitch was able to take place despite the current pandemic situation. There was definitely some initial positive feedback from the participants. This must be followed up now."
